Sandhi Bhide is the President of Anwaya Consulting LLC, which specializes in IOT and digital transformation. Prior to the current role, he was the GM/CTO of an IOT Group Startup within Intel where he led the development of three highly innovative IOT platforms. He is also the inventor of world's first true smart light bulb with sensor/compute/communication/management/security capabilities – all in one end node and has patents to his name. He has over 40 years of high tech and over 20+ years of experience at Intel in several leadership positions. Presently, he is also a co-founder/BOD/Investor of FleetNurse, a healthcare services startup. He is also leading another startup effort in a Coronavirus detection mitigation device and equipment startup which is currently in a stealth mode.

Sandhi's insatiable curiosity leads him to develop many innovative solutions that transform the world and businesses. He is an innovative Business Leader, Strategist, and Technologist. He is a frequent speaker and thought leader at Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M) and several other industry leading conferences. Sandhi serves as an IOT expert on the Steering Committee Member/Judge for the prestigious Edison Awards and Edison Universe. He serves as a Director-at-large for University of Oregon's Alumni Association. Outside the technology effort, Sandhi is a founder, coordinator and singer, Bollywood Music Group: Soor Aur Saptak™ which works with Seva Foundation, Berkeley, CA and raised $300K+ since its inception doing free cataract operations for financially challenged pediatric patients in rural India.

Sandhi has a BE in Electronics and Telecommunication from University of Pune India, MS in Computer Science from University of Wyoming, USA specializing in computer vision, AI, and robotics, and Executive MBA in strategic management from University of Oregon, USA.

Costabile, Tom

Title: Executive Director/CEO

Thomas Costabile is an accomplished C-level executive with a strong track record of delivering successful results for large global organizations while leading them through significant change.

Costabile is responsible for implementing the Society’s strategy focused on the creation of products, services and programs around ASME’s initial core technologies – manufacturing, bioengineering, robotics, clean energy, and pressure technology. He is also responsible for guiding organizational programs in codes and standards development, membership, conferences, technical publishing, education and professional development, and public policy. From his base at ASME’s global headquarters in New York City, he oversees ASME’s strategic initiatives, finance, operations and staff.

Prior to joining ASME in May 2018, Costabile served as a consultant for Carlan Advisors and as a partner at 3ssentials, LLC, where he advised boards, senior executives, private equity sponsors and investors. In these roles, he was successful in analyzing businesses and developing strategic initiatives to ensure profitability as well as implementing and monitoring projects to profitability.
Costabile is a trained mechanical engineer and began his career in the nuclear power industry. He later joined CBS Records to oversee the development of the company’s compact disc and distribution operations. He went on to earn leadership roles in the music distribution industry, which included serving as senior vice president of operations for SONY Music with P&L responsibility in excess of $400M, and then as president, WEA Manufacturing-Warner Music Group, with P&L responsibility of over $3B, and a staff of over 4,000.

He has provided leadership on several not-for-profit boards, including chair of the Montgomery Academy; board member emeriti of both the University of Oregon Foundation and the Oregon Children’s Foundation; and board chair of the High Tech Broadcasting Network.
Thomas Costabile earned his MBA with honors in Finance from Long Island University and a BSME with honors from Manhattan College.

Scott Marsic has over two decades experience successfully transforming diagnostic, technical and business intelligence products into innovative, market-leading goods and services. As Sr. Product Manager at Epson America, Scott is responsible for developing strategic initiatives to help drive channel growth and end user demand across the industrial robotics product category. Scott holds a BS from the University of California, Santa Cruz, a MS from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from San Francisco State University.
