Medical Device Packaging has looked the same for many years, however, what we are asking it to do has continued to evolve and challenge the status quo. Join industry leader, Rod Patch, in a discussion about how industry is driving much needed innovation through collaboration – including, but not limited to, package design. Rod will share about a recently formed group, Kilmer Innovations in Packaging, which has recruited more than 150 members along the sterility assurance value chain from medical device manufacturers (disciplines involved in sterility assurance and maintenance) through distribution and use in the healthcare system (all types of clinicians handling sterile packaged devices). In addition to formal, tangible innovation projects, Rod will share how the group is working to break barriers by fostering bi-directional communication channels to drive innovation to a whole new level through mutual understanding.
